Presented for sale is this lovely Victorian bride\'s basket. The Aurora Silver Company plated frame features floral medallions and \"suspicious\" leaves on the handle and reticulated floral bands on the footed base. The blue opalescent glass bowl is the Lattice or Diamond Optic design with a crimped and ruffled edge. This pattern was made by several factories--Buckeye, Northwood & Dugan plus others. Theframe measures 11 1/4\" high, 9 1/2\" across and 5\" at the base. The bottom has the maker\'s trademark and is numbered 0749. The bowl alone is 3 3/4\" high, 9\" across and 3 1/2\" at the base. Both pieces are in very good estate condition with no damage or repairs found. The silver has not been polished and has a nice old patina. This is a very nice example for your collection!
