Circa 1892 Campaign Political Satire Photographic Collage; Depictions of symbolic political cartoon drawings in combination with photography manipulation to add real portrait heads. Bottom right corner of photograph includes two names in the negative; Ned Van Buren and C. R. McCarty (presumably the creators of this piece). Blind stamp on mount board in lower right corner reads;\"Cunningham - Gouverneur, N.Y.\" (photographer). One of the illustrations includes the \"Gouverneur Machine Company\". While another shows a man sweeping away the \"Campaign of \'92\". I am not sure if this interesting collage is in reference to the 1892 Presidential Election or an1892 New Yorkelection. Approximate size of mount is 12\" x 10\". Actual image size is 9-1/2\" x 7\". Condition: light soiling, staining, and foxing spots. Occasional wear to mount.
