Here is a real photo postcard of a patriotic parade to celebrate the 4th of July. Taken in Bouton, Iowa on July 3rd, 1909. Dated in pencil on back. Horses are dressed for the festivities, children on the wagons, lots of people line the sidewalk to watch. One of the white buildings is \"E. B. Lobes\". There is a crease from top to bottom on the left, glue marks on back from being in an album, and what looks like scratches in the foreground on the dirt street. Could have been on the negative. No tears. Actual color is more of a sepia tone. Nice early view of Bouton, Iowa. Pstg. will be $2.25. Non smoking home.
