I am ALWAYS AMAZED HOW TOUGH IT IS TO FIND TOKENS FROM PRESCOTT..AND THIS IS SUCH A NICE LOOKING TOKEN.The old town of Prescott is located in beautiful Yavapai County...and was actually the territorial capital of Arizona back in 1864. The town of Prescott is located in Yavapai County…not far from Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona Arizona.

This is a great old token, and a beautiful specimen Token is listed in the Arizona token book (Spooner)...this is the NICKEL round brass variety....way tougher to find these San Michael Hotel tokens than book gives them credit for. This hotel goes back to 1907, and typically tokens were ordered early on.....so this likely saw use in the \"Territorial\" era (Az became state in 1912)

Trade token is round, brass, about 21mm in diameter, and is a beautiful specimen. (please see pictures in gallery)Gallery pictures should show you all you need to know.
