Ca1905 Western Americana / Cowboy Sterling Silver Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon For Sale
Beautiful and very rare, ca1905, Sterling Silver, Western Americana, Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon titled “Broncho Buster” with a wonderful, double sided figure of a Cowboy atop a Bucking Bronco!! This outstanding, Souvenir Spoon measures approx. 4 1/4" long and has a figure of a horse with its head down and bucking hard while the Cowboy sits firmly planted, deep in the saddle with his right hand raided above his head. The bowl of the Spoon is blank. The Spoon is marked Sterling and carries the crossed shovel and Miner’s Pick hallmark of the manufacturer - Joseph Mayer & Bros., Inc.
This beautiful, Western Americana motif, Figural Souvenir Spoon is in excellent condition - crisp and beautiful with no damage of any kind. This spoon came to us with a small collection of other figural handle spoons - which we are offering on this week - in "as found" condition with warm and beautiful age patina and some light tarnishing (the spoon will certainly shine up beautifully if the buyer wishes to do so).
