Slimline twist pens have locking refill mechanisms that accept Cross style refills. Our satin finish uses a \"premium rack plating\" process and is covered with an epoxy coating for extreme durability.

Bocote is a hard, dense, and fairly oily tropical wood that is highly prized for its dramatic, wild striping. These dark brown or black streaks, which sometimes form in concentric circles, give Bocote its defining look and lend finished products a truly distinctive appearance.

This one-of-a-kind pen was crafted from bocote shaped into a bullet design with satin gold hardware. The colors all work to give an elegant look and feel. The finished product is one that can be used with pride. After carefully selecting the proper match, the acrylic blank was cut, drilled, and prepared for the brass tube insert, which was glued with expanding Gorilla glue to insure a permanent bond. Then the two separate blanks were trimmed to fit the mandrel, where, with the use of various chisels, I created its unique shape. When the proper balance was achieved between artistic creativity and comfort, I then went through a multistage sanding process, followed by a three-stage polishing process that results with a glass-like finish that is extremely durable.
