This is an extremely rarelarge early 19th century handmade sterling silver and mahogany wood smoking pipe.it is a very large piece and a very rare design completely crafted by hand.the base of the pipe is made from a polished mahogany and has a wonderful shape.the bowl is crafted from sterling silver and has a beautifully hinged lid which is also vented.it has a very dimensional lion which has great detailing.it has a curved sterling arm that holds the hinged lid shut when the pipeisn\'t being used.the mouthpiece is also made from sterling and has a pressed maker mark as shown in pictures.it is in great antique shape measuring 5 3/4 inches long by 3 3/4 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches thick.also all the silver parts used are made from thick sterling.extremely rare pipe.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims.
