Measurements:  Eyepiece Diameter- 23mm
Barrel Diameter(just aft of ring)- 21mm
                           Inner Barrel Thread Diameter- 14mm
                           Overall Depth(exterior)- 7mm
                           Eyepiece(Ring) Depth- 2mm

**Please note: The depth of the inner threads is tough to get with the caliper I am using. Would be very close to the overall depth minus Eyepiece Depth, allowing a bit of room if a washer/gasket is present.

I purchased a bulk lot of spare parts for antique marine navigational instruments at an sale in North Jersey. There were several lots available from the same estate including parts for sextants, octants and chronometers. I offer heavily on all, but missed out on the chronometer parts and some of the hardware for sextants, octants etc. These parts all came from a shop whose sole purpose was the restoration of these extraordinary instruments. Unfortunately, the shop\'s proprietor passed away, and the contents of his shop were brought to sale. I did end up with a large selection of unmarked, telescopic parts for antique sextants/octants. I am hoping to pass these parts on to other restorers so that this man\'s efforts in procuring these pieces will be evident in working, antique sextants, worldwide. Since almost none of these parts bear a name, I am providing the most precise measurements I can procure from the pieces, using a micrometer caliper, as well as the best close-up photos I can produce with my little Nikon. If I had to take a guess at this moment, I would venture to say that most of the parts are of either American or British origin. My hat is tipped to all the restorers out there, and I will go out of my way to answer any questions you might have regarding these pieces, Dan.

Currently, I am a one man operation with a background in Art History, English Lit. and European History who\'s looking for a qualified part time assistant! Every piece I offer comes from either a Reputable sale House, a High End Estate sale, or simply, something that caught my eye in my travels. I enjoy getting questions from this online market because it gives me a chance to make the whole experience more personal, so if you have any questions, please ask!
