Glass bell; Chinese; item is hand painted on inside with bird on a tree branch with flower blossoms. Bell hangs from a chain on a carved wood stand, and appears to be rosewood or stained to look like rosewood. From my parent\'s collection which was begun in the 1950\'s. Used. Kept in a glass case for somewhere between 30 to 46 years then stored; survived a few household moves in mint condition; now, taken out of storage recently - - it has been carefully unpacked from storage where it sat untouched for many years. I see no damage, defects or wear and it appears the same as when it was first acquired.
