Up for sale is a very nice group of original WORLD WAR I items.It consists of: 1; 28TH INFANTRY DIVISION HELMET( KEYSTONE DIVISION from PENNSYLVANIA). The helmetwebbing is missing.(The army issued a warning that these helmets hadASBESTUS pads under the webbing and is the reason so many original helmets aremissing thewebbing). 2; VICTORY MEDAL with 5 battle bars. Thebars are for : \"CHAMPAGNE-MARNE, AISNE-MARNE, OISE-AISNE, MEUSE-ARGONNE, DEFENSIVE SECTOR. 3; ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL MESS KIT M 1910 (MEAT CAN) MESS KIT. It has \"KELSO\" scratched on the top and bottom. The handle is marked \"U.S. R.I.A. 1910\".4; PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD SERVICE METAL issued to F.M.KELSOinscribed \"HONER FOR DUTY NOBLY DONE WHO SERVED WITH THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES DURING THE WORLD WAR - APRIAL 6... NOVEMBER 11 1917-1918\".The medal is in the shape of a KEYSTONE.The KEYSTONE DIVISION was activated in Sept. of 1917 and deactivated in 1919.
