this is an extremely rare ancient Chinese cast bronze child toy from 500 to 725 years old.it depicts a male riding in a which once was a horse drawn chariot with whip in hand.the long T mount would have sat over the backs of two horses, The piece was unearthed and found without the horses, but an extremely rare find.it was a cast bronze so there were most likely several made at this time but never any found of the same cast or similar style.it is very ornate with asian detailing and has nice symbolism throughout.the wheels are held with a single rod and actually turn.the wheels have an iron wrap around the whole wheel where it would touch the ground and is a rare attribute that is seen on some very early models.the sides and back of the wagon are also stylized with a very detailed cut out snake motif.it measures 9 3/4 by 4 inches by 4 inches tall.it has a great patina from age and in good shape especially for age.very rare/ early ancient Chinese piece.
