This is a stunning rare antique 19th century large Victorian handmade female nude figural pin cushion.it is large for this style pin cushion and made with an abundance of intricate detailing.the top part of the figure is made from a ceramic/pottery material and beautifully painted by hand with vibrant color. It is a very rare figure design.her breasts are covered by her hands and the top part of her dress is made from lace which rests on her shoulders.she has a nice blonde curly hairpiece.her dress is made from a silk-like material with a handmade lace trim at the bottomand has the pin cushion underneath covered in silk as well.it piece measures 10 1/4 inches tall by 9 inches wide.The piece is very old and overall in nice displayable condition.her head has some bare spots where hair would be but could be covered by moving other pieces around.very rare victorian pin cushion.
