Extremely rare, out-of-production 1980s Halloween collectible.
-Large size tin!Just imagine what you could use it to store! Craft supplies, small Halloween decor items, small plush toys, etc.
-Produced in 1985 by CHD exclusively for The Popcorn Factory, a company based in Lake Forest, Illinois.CHD (The Center for Homewares or Housewares Design) is a company that is no longer in business but one that produced very nice items with great, original graphics. CHD was based in Orange County, California.
-Fantastic Halloween artwork by Gary Johnson!Off-set lithograph process used in artwork transfer.
-Makes a great gift for Halloween-themed item collectors and enthusiasts or those who prefer spooky home decor all year.
-Original, The Popcorn Factory, foil sticker label is still attached to bottom. Sticker states the following:THE POPCORN FACTORYBUTTERED POPCORNINGREDIENTS: Popcorn, Coconut Oil, Butter, Salt, Beta Caratene Added For Color.NET WT. (1 LB. 3 OZ.)The Popcorn Factory, Lake Forest, IL. 60045
Dimensions:Height (with lid on): approx. 13 1/8Diameter: approx. 10 1/4\"
Condition:Pre-owned. Item is quite old and has been handled over the years so there are signs of use and age. This tin, for many years, wasmainly used as a container for excess yarn. The exterior has a few scuffs, dents andchips (see last few photos) but these aren\'t extremelynoticeable as the tin is colorful all around and this, in a way, camouFlages the wear. The lid also has some scuffs and chips. The purple/blue background color of the lid is just slightly different from the tin, this is how it has always been but I thought I should mention this. The handles work well but do show their age and clear signs of use. The interior of the tin is quite cleanand shows minimal use, however, the interior and some exterior have a few spots of rust. Overall good condition and very much useable. Please see all photos.
