Recyclingwe deal exclusively in recycled gemstones. all of our loose gemstones are removed from high end mostly antique or vintage jewellery prior to it being melted down for precious metal recovery. this is good in many ways. It means we can supply a great selection of loose diamonds and gemstones that have in many cases been mined over 100 years ago so the ecological impact is not the same as currently mined stones so by buying with us not only are you saving some money you are also helping to save the planet.
Gem Cuttingalthough all of the stones we sell are recycled we do get lots of them recut. we use a fantastic company in Sri Lanka for the majority of our cutting needs including our beautiful custom cut stones, we also use a company based in Hatton Garden Mostly for Larger precious and diamonds
CertificationWe use AnchorCert for Diamonds and IGI Antwerp for coloured stonesthese are both reputable and trustworthy companies
the cost of certification is very high so we are only able to certify our Buy It Now stones. however rest assured that all of our uncertified loose diamonds and gemstones are tested, graded and thoroughly examined.
