Original quarter-plate daguerreotype; double exposure of a man and woman
side by side. Plate is in excellent, undamaged condition with a tarnish ring,
and scattered small tarnish spots. The spot to the right of her elbow is a
bubble in the glass.Dag has been resealed with archival tape;the original seals have been placed
back inside of the case, which measures4.75\" x 3.75\". The case itself is
damaged and missing its cover.
