Advertising mauchline sewing box from Brooks Soft Finish Thread (on the bottom). Inside is another advertisement with violets. The top cover has old cards under a lacquer finish with Ace, Queen and 10 of Hearts. There is a lock on the front but it is missing the hook. The box is nice and clean except for the bottom where some red dye has seeped on to part of the paper. 5\" by 4\" by 2\" high. The cover has a slight dome shape to it. In excellent condition.
