THIS ITEM IS--one of a huge number of slide rules I will be listing (aprox 500), from a great collector and author of two books on slide rulers,you are considering the item shown. this was stored in a basement closet for a number of years and may have some vintage smell to it. VERY COOL. there are some that are very similar to one another, but this guy collected variations, and there are a lot of them in this collection
