This machine is used. I\'m not to sure about sewing machines. The motor still works the part that goes up and down where the tread goes doesn\'t move. It could be a simple fix. The rubber belt still moves when you press the peddle. The light on the machine still works. The machine is in good cosmetic condition. I would say that the machine would need to be serviced. The storage box is in fair condition. Both claps that keep it closed are broke off. One piece is still there but broke. I found the original key to the lock.
