A lovely vintage mid 1960’s revolving music box angeldoll. Angel has netted lace wings withgold outlines. Her long robes, skirt, ordress stands out with the netted white lace outlined in gold. She even has a long slip with tiny laceborder. Blonde hair with gold foil wirehalo. Lovely face with closed rhinestonetears. Angel doll is fabric. A lovelypiece to display as a Christmas angel, but could also display through theentire year, if you are an angel collector.
The angel doll stands on a Sanyko Made in Tokyo Japan musicbox that plays the Maiden’s Prayer.
The doll revolves, or starts rotating, when the musicstarts.
Size: approx. heightof 10 inches, and width of 5 inches – this is at the widest portion – thebottom of her dress -
Condition: the musicbox still works but the doll turns slowly – I wonder if the box has slowed downover the decades. It has been tested,but I did not want to overwind. I imagine that it was louder and faster 50years ago. Fabric doll has been well cared for shows just a tiny bit of wear tothe upper edges of the netted lace wings – a tiny bit of separation and wearshown on the angel wings. No soiling – stored carefully for decades, but hasbeen in a smoking household.
Well packaged, will weigh over 1 pound, but under 2. Cansend either parcel or Priority. No handling fees.
