Vintage baby red bird Cardinal Lefton hand painted china figurine

Baby cardinal that appears hungry – has his beak open – probably just learning to fly – a fledgling - an expressive hand painted piece – Believe this particular china bird figurine dates to the 1960’s.

Back stamp in gold gilt on each placque: Lefton China Hand Painted Cardinal KW1637 – logo is with a crown.

Size: approx height 3 7/8ths inches; oval base width is approx 2 7/8ths inches.

Condition:I think he is precious, and I do know he is vintage 1960\'s.I do not believe it has any chips, but it does show some paint wear at the very edges of the wing feathers. I have looked under a magnifying glass and I don’t believe there is a chip in this area, but please look at the photos and judge for yourself. I ran my fingers over the areas and did not feel any rough spots.

Well packaged, will weigh over the weight limit for First class, but I believe will still be under 1 pound – can send either parcel or priority – No handling Fees.
