Description of item for sale:This impressive hand carved solid oak wood statue of the Holy Familyis from Belgiumand it dates to the mid/late 1700's. Notice the level of fine detail ofthe carvings in all aspects of the three figures. This statueis larger than it might first appear because Mary and Joseph are seated/kneeling. They are only slightly smaller than lifesize. Especially considering its age, this statueis in excellentantique condition with minor scratches and discolorations as would be expected.There is no woodworm or dry rot. Dimensions: 43" tall, 40" wide, 13" deep.
