Rare and original, ca1900s Photograph of a Native Crow Nation displaying a US Government Presentation Flag. The Eagle has a ribbon in its talons that reads E PLURIBUS UNUM. This is a VERY rare subject capture and a one of a kind photograph.

I've been researching for years trying to identify the Flag and there are no other photos with any of these Flags. The closest I've found is a graphic from the Lewis & Clark website that is not exact but as close as I've seen.

The United States and Crow Nation historical importance of this image is really immeasurable. I have another different image of this Flag along with the chief and other members I have listed now.

They're ORIGINAL and not reprints!

It is from a collection I bought of vintage, c1900 Montana area photos of Plains Indians. The Crow Tribe archives already have 2 that were identified as Crow positively. There is no way to positively identify the exact Flag I've found after years of research as photos of this type are extremely rare.

This original, ca1900s Western Americana Image measures approx. 4" by 5" and is unmounted and not matted so you have the freedom to display as you wish. I took these to a professional and had them looked at to identify the tribe. Please do your own research before buying should you not believe these to be Lakota or Crow.

The Photo is a literal one of a kind item! Whomever ends up with this piece of American and Native history will NOT be disappointed!
