A RARE FIND!This candy container box is one of the very best! It is decorated with Dresden paper around the sides with wonderful embossed leaf and vine motifs. The top is covered with glass. It has a lace background with a floral motif with a girl holding a bouquet of flowers and a dove watching. A wonderful romantic vision, so suitable for Valentines Day or Christmas. The box is so rare and early and in such beautiful condition. It opens to reveal a mirror on the top with its original paper border intact! This is in a wonderful robin\'s egg blue color with cream accents. The bottom is pink. There is the original crepe hinge connecting the top and bottom. It dates to c1890. A very rare and wonderful piece for the discerning collector of Valentines, Candy Containers, Christmas, Holiday.
