The Schlagband, or Portapee, is BRAND NEW & in the colors of Kanton St. Gallen, & is for an NCO Police Officer. While the Swiss military ceased wear of the M1943 Dagger & the attendant Schlagband for Officers & NCO's (Warrants) in the mid-1990's, local uniformed constabularies continued their wear, but with the dagger's knot's rendered in variations of the colors of their Kantons or provinces; or local jurisdictions.

These Polizei Schlagbandern are much rarer than the Army knots which were made in the hundreds of thousands, and the Police NCO knots are some of the rarest of them all.
