This Collection belonged to Wernher Von Braun's secretary Julia Kertes who was also the secretary for other heads of NASA and the military as well. Many items in this collection are directly from the desk on Wernher Von Braun or bear his pen marks or other NASA administrators. There are many pictures and letters and autographs as well from Wernher Von Braun, Doolittle Raider Davy Jones and NASA head Jim Fletcher, General Howell Marion Estes Jr, Samuel Phillips and Astronauts such as Young and Crippen and many other astronauts(take note some are autopens). Some have been authenticated by Mike Frost of PAAS.I can't get pictures to show everything individually but can send more upon request. This is a huge collection. I have magazines addressed to NASA Adminstrator and many letters from and notes from NASA heads and their wives to Julie. There are Kodak original NASA photos that belonged to Von Braun and a stack of NASA transparencies/negatives from Apollo missions and such. There are letters to Von Braun questioning his war involvement and his response as well and so many historical items. I have combined this collection with the manuscript collection of Wernher Von Braun see description below...This is an original and copy lot of manuscripts with a trip report and articles written by Wernher Von Braun.This collection was owned by Wernher Von Braun's secretary and is now available for sale. A similiar collection donated by Wernher Von Braun was appraised as invaluable so here is your chance! This is a great, rare, one of a kind historical collection!I have added some more notes and manuscripts I came across while going through the rest of this collection. There are notes and initialed items that were authenticated by PAAS that I have also included. I have recently opened this new store to dedicate to my NASA and other history items that I carry.

Some are copies with Von Braun's notes and others such as the Antartica Trip Report are original with notes and corrections. There are a total of 15 different originals and copies. There are some amazing facts and finds to be researched here.

"The Bible In The Space Age" original 9 pages with Von Braun's original pencil correction on 1 page, an article from Christian Life Publications, April of 1968 in pencil the rest is a copy, from 1966(date in pen at the top of the page)

Question: What Is Your Opinion On UFO's?" with 1 page typed answer - Typed notes for a speech at Adelphi College in Garden City, NY 10/June/1959 - Typed notes to Texas A&M University Feb 26, 1961 - From Von Braun also a manuscript titled, "Space and Spaceship Earth in 2073 A.D." This is a copy with copies of letters to the Detroit News From Von Braun dated April 3, 1973 and this lot is 20 pages. - 15 pages titled "The World of Tomorrow, The Next 25 Years Science And Technology" and is a copy dated 31/Aug/1967 - Next one says green book/copy filed/PA accepted and is 24 pages titled "Saturn, Uranus, Neptune" and dated by Braun 4-18-74 in pen - next is a draft of an interview when Dr Braun was the director of the George C Marshall Space Flight Center on March 31, 1964. At the interview was Dr Eugene Emmit the NASA historian, and Walter Sohier, General Counsel of NASA. This is a copy with a penned x at the top and is a 26 page interview - next is a typed manuscript to Popular Science Times Mirror and a letter from Braun regarding the article dated Feb 15, 1972 and the title is "Green Light For The Space Shuttle". This is on thin typewriter paper and is 8 pages long. - Next is an original lecture/trip report by Dr Von Braun and Dr Stuhlinger on 27/Fed/67 in the Morris Auditorium to MSFC employees. This is titled, "Visit To Antartica January 1-11, 1967". This is an original with notes throughout and is 24 pages long. - This should be item #13 and is a copy titled, "Pluto...And Beyond" and is dated 5/9/74. This photocopy has lots of noted and additions/side notes by Dr Von Braun. This is unique even though it has been copied and is 44 pages long. - Next to last is a 37 page copy titled "Rocketry In Germany And Austria 1923-1945" and there are no notes on this. Last is "The Military In The Balance", a 20 page manuscript with no extra writing or side notes.

I have added a copy of a letter that Von Braun wrote in 1946 telling of his well being since his capture and how he believes he can become a US citizen. This is a copy of the original which I do not have.

A copy of a letter from Fred Schneikert and a type written reply from Von Braun as well as an article about Schneikert's role with Von Braun during his capture or directly after.

3 biographical data booklets with some notes by Von Braun on the side and underlined sections.

There is a photo copied picture that I imaging hung in the office.

There is a copy of a note from Rolls-Royce Chief Engineer A.V. Cleaver and a copy of Von Braun's reply letter.

There is a copy of a telegram here from the Embassy Tokyo APRIL 6, 1971

I included a folder that Dr Von Braun made notes on the inside and there are at least half a dozen other copies of notes and memos from Von Braun.
