Appropriately, there are 1,939 Batman fountain pens and rollerballs, signifying the year of his first appearance. The pen body is made of aluminium with a black anodized finish; the clip and rings are fashioned from ruthenium-plated brass, evoking the dark grey of Batman's original costume. The barrel is engraved with bats in flight. The cap band features a bat shaped cut out exposing carbon fiber underneath. The fountain pen holds a two-tone rhodium-plated 18K gold nib bearing the celebrated bat logo. The first 500 pens are available as part of a fantastic set that also includes cufflinks and a watch. The jet black metal and carbon fiber cufflinks have a 3-D bat logo. The matching watch is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement and housed in a 42mm, black PVD finished stainless steel case with six screws securing the back.
