For sale, a SCARCE TO FIND, EARLY (BELIEVE 1920s ERA) ORIGINAL SOUVENIR "U.S. MAIL" POUCH WITH ORIGINAL POSTAGE STAMPED TAG & 8 BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO POSTCARDSwhichwere likely purchased at gift shop inside "BIG TREES LODGE"which was issued in the historic region of YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CALIFORNIA

THIS IS JUST A TERRIFIC EARLY MINIATURE AND COMPLETE "U.S. MAIL" POUCH WITH ITS ORIGINAL 2 SIDED TAG, AND CONTENTS (8 BLACK & WHITE MINIATURE POSTCARDS).....ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT THESE WERE ISSUED AROUND 1920S ERA ....JUST A FANTASTIC PC OF YOSEMITE HISTORY.

IF YOU LOOK AT THE "RED CARD" IN GALLERY, APPEARS THAT THIS POUCH AND POSTCARDS WERE LIKELY PURCHASED AT "BIG TREES LODGE" IN YOSEMITE....THE POSTCARDS SHOW EARLY TOURING CARS DRIVING THROUGH TREES......I am not an expert on Yosemite items, but this came out of Arizona estate...thought this was just a killer souvenir item

The historic & beautiful Yosemite National Park became a park in 1890, located in Sierra Nevada Mountains, located in Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties, not far from Groveland, Coulterville and Mariposa California.

Oldsouvenirpouch is leather and cloth, size is about 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" in decent shape, red tag is fully readable with old 2 cent stamp, and 8 postcards are near mint, they are about 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" in size. Came out of a family estate believe from 1920's era.
