For sale is a wonderful Art Nouveau antique leaded glass table lamp by made by The R. Wilkinson Lamp Company of Brooklyn, New York. This pattern is called \"Skirted Floral\" and it is made in a wonderful selection of stained glass. This lamp has some size to it as it stands 25 1/4\" tall to the very top of the finial and the bottom of the base has a diameter of 8 5/8\". The shade has a diameter of 18 1/2\" at its widest point at the bottom edge.The bottom of the base has a diameter of 8 7/8\".

This shade displays a beautiful pattern that consist of a beige colored geometric top with a staggered block geometric pattern. It has a bottom row that meets the skirt that consists of rectangular shaped pieces that form the border or trim just above the skirt. The skirt or bottom section of the lamp has a beautiful floral pattern that repeats itself 4 times. The flowers resemble \"Nasturtiums\" and are in groups or clusters of 3. The background around the flowers is an avocado green at the top and a blue green or what we call cobalt at the bottom. The flowers are done in peach and orange tones with green and yellow centers. There are unopened buds separating each cluster of flowers.

The shade sits on a tall 3 light bronze base with acorn pull chain sockets. It is 8 1/2\" deep. The 3 pull chains are fully functional and original to the shade. It has it\'s original shade cap and style finial. This is similar to how Tiffany Studios used a cap and wheel. The base made of bronze and has an Acanthus leaf raised pattern on the bottom with the pattern rising up along the column. The base is quite heavy and has a loader for added weight giving this lamp tremendous stability. It has recently been rewired with the antique style black rayon lamp cord and it still retains its original antique Bakelite plug.

The shade and base are in very good to excellent condition with no issues to report on the base. The shade has about 6 scattered tight lines in some of the glass and none with daylight coming through. The base is signed on the underneath bottom with the number \"523\". It also has 4 round inset circles. This is as good as a signature as these insets are a trademark of Wilkinson lamp bases. This is known a base model number \"523\".This base can be documented in the Mosaic Shades book by Paul Crist page 268 lower center.

This is a nice early leaded glass table lamp. It is made in the same quality as Tiffany Studios. I had had several through the years and I am confident in saying this is one of the finest Wilkinson leaded glass lamps in this pattern that I have had the pleasure of offering the public. I\'m quite sure the buyer will be quite pleased with their purchase. This table lamp was made circa 1910-1915 as The Wilkinson Company was only in business for 5 short years.

THIS LAMP WILL BE SHIPPED IN 2 SEPARATE BOXES

We are professional shippers. This item will be double boxed using Styrofoam sheets to form a casket around the shade and put the base in a separate box. This gives added protection for the shade but raises the cost for shipping. I also put insurance oneach box for the total sale of the lamp. This way if either one is damaged or lost the entire amount is covered, even if 1 of the 2 boxes arrive. This raises the cost but is well worth the coverage.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. forced me into managed payments in July 2020.I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with themerchandiseunless it is paid for.

They are also now charging all sellersa commission of 12.35%on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing feebut has changed this to 12.35%. This is an increase of 9.45% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now theyare charging 12.35% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what is doing is wrong or you don\'t agree them please contact and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
