Looking for a unique Mother\'s Day or Baby Shower gift? Here is the perfect piece! This is a very nice framed Vintage Vogue Needlecraft Co. Cross Stitch on Linen. The needle work is well done and in good condition. A woman is sitting in front of an open fireplace and the message below reads \"IN HEAVEN A NOBLE WORK WAS DONE WHEN GOD GAVE MAN A MOTHER\" The words are done in a combination of red and black threads. There is a yellow and black flowered border around the piece. The vintage wood frame is in nice condition with a bit of a gold accent applied to the decorative edges.
The back of the linen has the inscription printed Vogue N. Co. 100% pure linen colonial sampler. 8 1/2\" x 10 1/2\". The piece is held in place in the frame through an intricate series of threads that is rather unique. I don\'t think they wanted it to move at all!
