1920s? Original 2-Sided Die-Cut Filigree DRINK DOUBLE COLA Metal Sign MOLONY’S Canton Mississippi. This is the only large (46”x56”, nearly 4’x5’!! And heavy!!) 2-sided hanging DOUBLE COLA sign I have ever seen. It obviously saw maximum use, but it has an incredible amount of character, and one side looks especially nice. I have also included a photo of the only other surviving piece of physical evidence from Molony’s in Canton, the name on the back of the original store. The name and the Coca-Cola sign are original period paint, while the Arrow collar man sign was added when the movie O, BROTHER WHERE ART THOU? was filmed here in the late 1990’s. These signs have now been painted over, and the original Molony’s store is now a museum showcasing the movies that have been filmed in Canton. PAYPAL ONLY.
