Fresh to market is a rare Yom Kippur silver belt buckle from the 18th century Netherlands. It is in excellent condition with no significant dents. There are alternating Moses and Aaron vignettes. Moses carries the decalogue. Aaron, adorned in the high priest breast plate, is carrying an incense burner. There are cherubic sunbursts in the extreme corners of the buckle. Additionally, there is a small face of an angel peering over Moses and Aaron. Please see photos for the stamp on the back clasp. This buckle measures 7" across x 3" wide. It weighs 95 grams or 3.4 ounces. This Yom Kippur belt buckle was worn with a cloth sash tied around the individual kittle. Guaranteed authentic and reasonably priced.
