Selling my extremely rare original Norma Jeane Marilyn Monroe contact sheet photographs taken by Andre De Dienes in 1945 during their road trip together across California and into Oregon. Shots from this photo session were used for a camera ad and a 1946 French Magazine, shown in photos, ad and magazine not included. Note: these images are flush with the whole photo itself so Andre made this with 3 photos and there was never a fourth photo because these cannot be removed. In wonderful condition. Gelatin silver. Size 11 x8 1/2. Very rare contact sheet. Produced and stamped by Andre. I have never seen anything similar, I believe it’s definitely one of a kind.

This is from, if not the best, then one of the very best Marilyn Monroe photo collectors of all time, Kim Goodwin. Kim was a man of many talents, he loved and had a deep appreciation for Marilyn, he actually worked for photographer, George Barris, and chose to be paid in photographs and negatives. He was extremely talented, among many talents, he was a photographic preservationist, there are many books that credit him for the use of his photos. He was a highly skilled Marilyn doll designer, some would argue perhaps the best because his dolls looked so life like and captured Marilyn’s beauty in a way no other designer could and they had a gracefulness to them that was unparalleled, and as mentioned above contributed to many books on her. He was also a sought after, highly regarded, expert stylist/artist to the stars.
