It is in very good condition for its age. It has 16 layers of branches and the width at its fullest (if branches are pulled down fully) can be up to 3.5 feet. The stand measures 8-3/4” wide squared and 8-1/2” tall and still has its original Famous Barr price tag underneath showing that it was purchased for $34.98. The color is a deep rich green- almost like new. The red berries on the ends of the branches are missing on some branches (the majority of them are still intact) and most of those intact berries have lost their red finish over the years. The branches are very tight and strong- which is uncommon of trees of this age. No loose or weak branches. There are several branch tips where the feather has detached. The 'bark' or trunk wrapping is in excellent condition minus the base barely starting to come away (photographed). This tree will be shipped via UPS Ground due to its large size and will arrive in a generic Christmas tree box (I’m not sure I’d be able to find a box for it otherwise) and so this is why the shipping fee is unusually high. Any difference in actual shipping cost will be refunded to you.
