Authentic photogravure print on holland paper, dating to 1889, as published by the Salon de Paris.Condition is very good and clean for a print of this age, with one utmost blank margin edge having binding strip from being bound in art folio. Print has a \" ghost impression \" on back consistent with the inks used on front, and this is normal for a print of this age. Print is very rare from this publisher, as only 650 prints were made in this printing process. Print is not numbered but is a limited edition. A nice plate impression is seen around the image. Print is full plate and is blank on back. Print is from an incomplete antique art book. Overall size is approximately 8.25 by 12.5 with image size being approximately 4.25 inches by 7 6/16 inches.
