SPECIAL OFFERING ~ MUSEUM QUALITY EARLY NAVAJO PEARLS

Ya'at'eeh, (Greetings) Guaranteed as described. If you are a collector or investor in early Native American coin silver jewelry and wearable art, please consider this exceptional offering. Reservation acquisition, MUSEUM QUALITY very rare and substantial, weighs a heavy 463 grams or 16.25 ounces of silver, offered at a very reasonable price. Make me an offer and make them yours...

Authentic 1940's handcrafted early Navajo Pearl Bench Bead Squash Blossom Necklace re: early coinage bench beads created entirely from U.S. 90% silver mercury dimes and U.S. 90% silver Washington quarters, there are a total of 122 coins used to create this fabulous necklace, (86) dimes and (36) quarters, old $6,000.00 reservation price from many years ago, offered at a very reasonable price. I have been asked to offer this early coin silver squash blossom for an elder in Window Rock.

This Navajo Squash Blossom measures 25" long, many hundreds of hours of labor went into creating these bench beads, coins are very carefully worked into a convex, raised concho form with center seam construction, joining two coins at the center. The mercury dime beads are approx. 15mm and the quarters are approx. 21mm, there are very slight variations due to hand craftsmanship. There are (8) prominent side blossoms, (4) on each side also created from coin silver mercury dimes, 1 3/4" long. The NAJA is very simple double bar construction with mercury dime ends, features an old turquoise cabochon with natural matrix 25mm x 14mm, stone is very secure in the silver bezel.

Condition: All the coin silver bench beads, re: Navajo pearls are in beautiful condition with no damage or issues. The terminal (ends) of the necklace have a hand made silver hook & eye, the eye has been silver soldered over the chain, there is a tiny ruff (sharp) spot, shown in photo #21 and pointed out, a very easy fix for a qualified jeweler. On the backside of the NAJA there is a full bail that has a tiny ruff spot from wear and age. Otherwise excellent with exceptional aesthetic beauty. Navajo handcrafted jewelry of this age and quality only appreciates with time. Many dealers are scooping these early bench beads up and re-creating pieces just using a bead or two and then asking hundreds of dollars. Early American silver coinage Navajo pearls are highly prized and very valuable to collectors. I will include a quality hard shell jewelers presentation case for easy gifting, safe keeping and storage. A beautiful Navajo treasure, substantial and an investment.
