This MAGNIFICENT cotton 20\'s/30\'s shamrock quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusually small scale and nice zigzag border.It measures 68\" X 80\" and is in excellent, unused condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The kaleidoscopic design has subtle overlapping circles in the background, and is an interesting \"quilt of illusion.\"
There is quilting around the piecework and in daisy designs in the border, all at an even 8 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the machine stitched binding is green, and the batting is. The quilt came out of central Indiana and is possibly Amish.
The WONDERFUL COLORS, DAZZLING DESIGN, and SUPERB CONDITION makes this WELL EXECUTED vintage COLLECTOR\'S QUILT stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
