Sign speaks for itself.....I have owned it for many years and just don't have the room to display it.... Size is 33" x 10' 3"..The wood letters are embossed out and are applied to metal back......they have gold leaf applied to them or a gold type of paint, i am not sure and this is a bit out of my expertise....I don't have rock solid provenance however it did come out of Toledo Ohio..If this could be traced to the famous Wright Brothers, it would be a great sign and piece of history & if i was a betting man, i would bet The famous aviation Wright Bros. did have a business using this sign.....I just don't have the means, time or expertise to fully do the proper research ...It is all 100% original condition.........It was found in the basement of a Hardware store and that was all the info the picker could give me....From the little bit of research I did, I found Wright Bros. had different businesses around Ohio and other areas...I would date this sign to the teens or early 1900's and this falls perfectly into their business time period....There is a little yellow paint evidence left on the inside wood trim piece..Its located on inside part of outer frame....There is also a small piece missing of the G....The red paint is obvious and stable , NOT flaking.....These photos are part of the description...contact with any questions
