HERE IT IS, A GENUINE, DOCUMENTED, AUTHENTIC, ST. VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE BRICK FROM THE INFAMOUS WALL ON THAT FATEFUL DAY, FEBRUARY 14TH, 1929. The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre was the 1929 murder of seven members and associates of Chicago's North Side Gang that occurred on Saint Valentine's Day. The men were gathered at a Lincoln Park garage on the morning of that feast day, February 14th. They were lined up against a wall and shot by four unknown assailants, two of whom were dressed as police officers. The incident resulted from the struggle to control organized crime in the city during Prohibition between the Irish North Siders, headed by George "Bugs" Moran, and their Italian South Side Gang rivals led by Al Capone. The perpetrators have never been conclusively identified, but former members of the Egan's Rats gang working for Capone are suspected of a role, as are members of the Chicago Police Department who allegedly wanted revenge for the killing of a police officer's son. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS PIECE HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED AND VERIFIED AND IS BRICK NUMBER "G4" OF THE ST. VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE WALL. THIS BRICK COMES WITH TWO COA'S DIRECT FROM GEORGE PATEY, THE ORIGINAL OWNER. IT HAS HIS FORMAL ISSUED AND SIGNED COA. IN ADDITION IT COMES WITH A COPY OF THE CONTRACT/DEAL PATEY HAD WITH THE CONTRACTORS AT THE TIME "NATIONAL WRECKING CO." BASED OUT OF CHICAGO ILLINOIS IN 1967. IN 1967 IS WHEN PATEY PURCHASED THE WALL WITH THE INTENT TO SELL THE BRICKS AS COLLECTIBLES. CERTAINLY NOT REALIZING HOW VALUABLE THEY WOULD BECOME. THE LAS VEGAS MOB MUSEUM UPON ITS INCEPTION WORKED DILIGENTLY TO ACQUIRE THE ENTIRE WALL. AFTER MONTHS AND MONTHS AND WITH A VIRTUALLY UNLIMITED BUDGET, THEY ACQUIRED MOST.
