Together, they combine the eternal circle of the seasons, the harmony of the Japanese Chinkin technique and the outstanding quality of Pelikan craftmanship.

Rendered in finehira maki-eand chinkin techniques.

Medium(M)18K two-tone gold nibs.

This pen set is New in Box and the fountain pensare never used, inked or dipped.

Made in 2008, this pen set is getting hard to come by. As you probably already know, Pelikan does not make many Chinkin fountain pens.

Maki- and Chinkin are the most representative techniquesof ornamental lacquerware. While in maki-e, designs aredrawn with lacquer using a brush.

Then gold foil, gold andsilver powder are sprinkled or stuck onto the design.
