Here is a RARE wonderful layout drawing featuring Lucy as she says,\"Don\'t forget the shovel.\" You will see this sequence aroundthe 10:13 time mark. Layouts begin after the designs are completedand approved by the director.
The layout process is the same as theblocking out of shots by a cinematographer on a live-action film. This fantastic layout was rendered in color pencil on 12 fieldanimation paper.
The pegholes have been repositioned using tape.
