This is an extremely rare piece of generational pictorial and documented history lot up for sale. The Sandoe family tree historical lot starts here with the father (not pictured in lot but mentioned in the documentation, William Sandoe who enlisted at Gettysburg in 1861-1866 and his rank was a Private. (William's lineage is from Pennsylvania with previous relatives soldiers too)


William Sandoe and his wife Margaret had 9 sons, in 1876 William, his wife and some of his sons moved to Virginia purchased land Washington in Abington. A few years later the documentation of the deeds stated that lots (31 and 32) be sold to two of his sons, George Sandoe and William M. G Sandoe.


Within the deed documentation included is, 


Land receipt for $500, Registration receipt letter, Registry receipt, A rusty nail being used as a paperclip, (3) 1871 Internal Revenue Scott #R115 Second issue Blue & Black 50 cent stamps, (3) 1862-71 US Internal Revenue Stamp- Conveyance silk paper in blue #R54d, (4) 1862-71 US Internal Revenue Stamp, Entry of goods imperf red 25 cents, (2) Land Deed White House imprint Seels, Original law office large tan envelope from the law office of Hutton and Hutton Attorney At Law Arlington VA and Tax information.




Pictorial lot includes


(2) framed uniformed Sandoe's soldiers, one of the framed pictures is with 'Old Glory,' American Flag, (1) matted photo of one of the Sandoe's sons in a suit, (1) An older matter photo of one of Sandoe's sons with his new family, and (2) post cards, one lineage Sandoe'  is in uniform and the other Sandoe lineage in on a train platform. One of the post cards is cut smaller.

I have included in a collage of gathered historical information on the lineage of the Sandoe's Ancestry.


These historical and pictural history came from a recently deceased collector in Tennessee. All items are described and researched to the best of my abilities.
