c.1920's PRESS PHOTOs ARCHIVE OF CANADA - PEOPLE PLACES TOURISM WORK c.400 PRINT:
Images:A large group of vintage gelatin silver press photographs - approx 390. The images reflect condition and tones reasonably accurately. This archive comes from the collection of a French journalist, Victor Forbin from the early part of the 20th century. We have illustrated a random sample. Prints vary in size from 10x8 inches down to snapshots, with the majority 8x6 or larger. Most prints are captioned in pencil on the back, some also with agency stamps. A few are dated, and these appear to be c.1920s which would be consistent with other parts of his collection, and would appear correct with regard to the other images illustrated here. Condition is generally quite good - a few creases and tears, some a little dirty, but mostly bright and crisp.
Payment:We aim to be as flexible as possible within the constraints of policy.
Shipping:UK$15. Overseas airmail: Europe: $40, Worldwide: $50.
