Hello. I am offering an exquisite mid-20th century Lefton China mermaid wall pocket/plaque from my own personal collection.
She is extremely hard to find.
She is the only one exactly like her currently for sale on .
I have never seen her before.
Her colors are subtle and the detailing is exquisite.
She has a matte finish, extra long pale bluish-gray hair, peach lipstick, and a pink and white tail.
The ends of her hair and tail are accented with gold.
She is wearing a gold starfish-like headpiece; one arm is slightly tarnished.
Her hair is decorated with strands of gold beads which also match her necklace.The piece can stand up on her own or sit on a shelf; she may also be hung.
One medium-sized hanging hole is on the back of the wall pocket.There are no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, paint loss, or repairs.
For the sake of accuracy, there is a small spot of gold paint on the upper part of her tail.
On the mermaid\'s bottom, written in gold, it says Lefton China Hand Painted Reg US Pat Off KW1634.
There is also the crown hallmark and an N inside of a circle.The mermaid wall pocket/plaque is in mint condition.
Her dimensions are 5-1/4\" h x 4-1/4\" w x 2-1/2\" d.The mermaid wall pocket/plaque displays beautifully and is sure to make you smile.
