Vintage "Tree of Life" Painting Mounted on Wood, by Margaret Gare Barks:

This painting is called The Tree of Life. Supposedly, according to some reading I've done, there are hidden pictures in the rural American scene. It was painted in 1972 by Margaret Gare Barks. She signed this picture just "Gare".

This picture belongs to the original owner. It's been displayed occasionally away from natural light, so the colors are still bright. The print is mounted directly onto the 19 inch square woodenboard that frames it as well. The frame is in good condition except for some chipping on the upper right corner. The finish is good but could use cleaning with a wood restorer product. except for these spots on the corners being visible.

The print has the original bright colors and has been in storage for many decades. There are small spots where it's worn so only white shows. One corner (upper right) of the wooden background frame is scuffed a bit on the ack edge. The paper backing is stapled on andloose in spots. It is clean and not stained except from where it's rubbed against the wall about 2 inches from the edge of the frame in spots.
