Half plate, UNCASED daguerreotype of a girl in semi-profile. I believe this probably taken by Southworth & Hawes, but there is no ID. The plate appears to be in excellent condition with a light tarnish ring. At certain angles I see some light vertical lines in the lower-left quadrant that under magnification appear to be on the glass. There is also a very light ding on her shoulder that I can see when tilting the dag around but it's so light that I don't notice it when viewing the image straight on. It's been partially sealed with what appears to be archival tape. Any questions, just let me know.
