Chair belonged to the first President of the United States - George WashingtonGeorge Washington chair, owned by his descendants. saleed by Christie in 1996. Bought by one of Boston's antique shops.

Sold with documents from Christie's sale.

According to the owner of the antique shop - on one of the legs, on the inside - the emblem of the Washington family (see the last photo).
