Overall great, used condition.

The is a super exclusive item, and rarely comes for sale. Don’t be confused with the less expensive, smaller edition sized plush also sold or released online. This is the taller one of which only 5 were made. This is also never going to be re-released by Steiff (unlike smaller editions). This is being sold at a steal considering it was sold for $5,000 in 2008.

It could use some light specialty cleaning, but we will leave that to the new owner. A lint roller/tape on the jacket would probably do wonders and shining the scuffed brass button. Other than scuffs on the button the only real damage is a small hole on the underside of his hat brim. It does not go all the way through the hat and isn’t really noticeable. Pricing takes into consideration condition and cleaning. See photos carefully.

This comes with the exclusive Disney pin trading button that was sold along with the piece. I’m not a pin collector but it looks in good shape and I\'ve included it with purchase of doll in ‘as is’ condition (for free). One other identical pin sold for $80 on on its own. It includes the hangtag (100% condition) that has the edition number and lithograph signatures of Steiffs founders/creator.

This item retailed on one day only at the 2008 Epcot Center teddy bear convention. These conventions have since been discontinued. But they sold these plush in three different editions and sizes (check photos for sizes). The smaller editions looked similar but were much shorter, less expensive and varied in edition size from 1,200 or more. You can see the pricing board from the convention which shows the 3-tiered edition sizes in the listing photos for reference. Both the pricing information I’m giving and this product have been fully verified by Steiff! This doll retailed for $5,000 to purchase. It’s worth noting that it could ONLY be purchased IF you were ALREADY purchasing both of smaller sized dolls as well! So to own this you ended up nearly spending $7,815 at the time of purchase (buying all three).
