HAND PAINTED AND INKED AND TRIMMED-TO-FIGURE BY THE STUDIO KEY MATCHING CEL OF JIMINY CRICKET AND PINOCCHIO, PLACED ON ITS BEAUTIFUL, KEY MATCHING, HAND-PAINTED 9.5 x 8.25" PRODUCTION BACKGROUND, CUT FROM THE FINAL VERSION OF THE FILM, BUT USED FOR THE LOBBY CARDS, PRINTS, AND SEVERAL OTHER PUBLICITY PURPOSES (see the second and the last photo).THE REVERSE IS INSCRIBED "OK for camera BJ" (Bill Justice?) and 9/6/39.THE CEL IS WITH ITS ORIGINAL PAINT AND WAS MOUNTED TO THE PRODUCTION BG (WHICH IS A BIT BIGGER THAN THE 9.125 x 7.625" MAT OPENING) BY THE STUDIO IN 1939.
