A rare copy from a limited edition produced, signed, and dated by the artist. To date, in the collection of the original and sole owner.

This smaller format edition from the origin of the work was produced for select VIP patrons by Alec Soth. The image "Man with Planes" would later be re-titled "Charles, Vasa, Minnesota" This photograph lot includes a 2004 Whitney Biennial poster to which the image was used for that season's Biennial. The original mat board for the photograph is included and signed on reverse with notations by Alec Soth. The photograph is also signed by the artist on reverse and has since been re-matted as shown. The photograph, poster, original mat boards, re-matted boards and poster mat boards are all archival materials and set into a fitted archival carton as shown. Dating to the work's origin in 2001, this is a rare version of this image that would go on to become a highly sought after and well documented work of fine art.

Everything has been stored in controlled temperature and humidity storage and as a smoke free Environment. Items are in excellent vintage condition. Exception: Whitney poster has very light edge/corner wear that is mild but pointed out for to be thorough. A notarized, signed document of provenance will accompany this item when shipped.
