HUGE! Made up ofTWENTY FIVE prismatic glass sections, this ceiling lantern known as the Hedraliteis an extremely rare find! Beautiful quality.

The lantern comeswith four ceiling chains (not original)and four lights, wired and ready to hang.

Holophane glass wasinvented in the 1890’s and comes in a range of shapes and sizes giving different types of illumination. The glass shades areclear molded glass with parallel or crosscut prisms.

Provenance: Thismagnificent and rare lamp was acquired in a important sale house in Uruguay.Previously, the owner was a person who lived in Argentina and the lamp wasimported from England to Argentina in the beginning of 20th Century.
